Well, that’s a bit of premature request/demand isn’t it!? Weeeellll, I feel like I might as well go in for the kill having been around these parts for almost half a century or so it seems.
Since joining Substack over a year ago, I went from always writing only in my google docs. Files all of my draft letters (first draft always gets sent out after editing a few typos - more typos edited after publication) because I was scared to lose anything or become distracted by decorating my layouts if I worked directly through the dashboard on Substack. Then….. OMG this is so boring.
I just wanted to let you know that tonight, I’m back in my google docs file for lack of distraction so typing it here first. My focus is on content over the bells and whistles I usually include (and will do…. OMG this is still soo boring!)
Why? Why am I telling you this? Because I was you to know that I am taking this ‘explosion’ or words which are (hopefully) about to pursue very seriously - but by all means - you don’t have to, or should I say; I’d rather you didn’t take any of this drivel too seriously. I want you to enjoy it if at all possible….
OMG this is soooo boring! Let’s have a wee video song break and move this shit along before I bore the socks of both you, me and the fucking fence post. It was so boring that I have no recollection of the point I might have been trying to bring to you. Maybe it was all leading us up to this Simply Red song - ‘So Beautiful’ give it a little listen and then I’ll re-coop afterwards with something of a story I’d like to share with you. A real life event, memory, story.
I’m not sure what I wanted to talk about really. I’m not even in a funny mood like ‘to be funny or not to be funny, should I continue?is the question!’ I think I might just retire here and call this another ‘brief interlude’. Enjoy the mix!
